Der Winter wird lang...

Ja, der Winter mag lang werden, aber die Projektliste ist noch länger und da kann wenigstens keine Langeweile aufkommen.
Angesichts der sinkenden Temperaturen steht mir der Sinn nach einer Winterpelisse. Und wie das Leben so spielt habe ich neulich einen atemberaubenden leichten Wollstoff (Leinwandbindung) aus 100% Wolle zu einem sagenhaften Preis bei ebay ergattern können. Manchmal muß man Glück haben. Außerdem wartet da noch ein Knäuel graubrauner Soutache und - auch wenn es täuschend echt nach Mila aussieht - ein bisschen Kunstfell, was sonst. Die Pelisse soll sich lose an den Mantel in "Fashion Bd.1" anlehnen.
Yes, the winter might be long, but my to-do list is even longer and prevents me from the dreaded feeling of boredom.
Facing the dropping temperatures these days made me think of a cosy winter pelisse. And life was so good to me to help me find an amazing light woolfabric (plainweave) 100% pure wool for a bargain price on ebay. Lucky me!
And there's this amazing lenghts of soutache and - don't be fooled it looks like my Mila's fur, but isn't of course - fake fur. The pelisse will be loosely based on the one in "Fashion Vol.1"
Und dann ist da noch dieses sagenhafte zweiteilige Kleid, das schon lange auf meiner Wunschliste steht. Ich muß mir nur noch Gedanken über die Farbe der Paspeln machen, denn mein ursprünglich geplantes Lila scheint mir doch etwas gewagt.
And then there's this dress, that's for far too long on the top of my wishlist. I just have to decide on the colour of the piping. I was going for purple, but that seems to be a bit daring to me now.
